Making Yourself Successful

The other day I was reading the biography of a celebrity fitness model and felt incredibly inspired by her story. She is an example of someone who worked hard and made herself successful. This woman climbed to the top because she constantly focused on improving every single aspect of her life. She put herself out there and dared to fail. She attended seminars, workshops, networked and introduced herself to other professionals. She participated in competitions and didn’t stop trying until she won. Today she is a world famous fitness professional and model.

This is what I believe success is about. If you want to get something done, nobody is going to do it for you. Nobody is going to knock on your door and offer you opportunities or success. You have to dare to fail and get yourself out there. Do your research, meet people, attend workshops and seminars, network and keep being persistent. If one of your goals falls through the cracks, don’t give up. Keep pushing, never stop trying and focus on moving forwards. You can never fail if you overcome every difficulty and don’t ever stop trying to do better.

I’ve been experiencing this myself. I’ve learnt that if you want to get something done, you have to commit and keep working towards your goal. You will face obstacles and many difficulties, but overcoming these will make you stronger and help you improve along your journey. One example of this is competing in fitness modeling and bodybuilding events. The whole process from training and dieting to stepping on stage can be extremely daunting. However, working hard and achieving my goal, no matter how difficult it is, makes me stronger than I could have ever imagined.

This same rule can apply to your body as well as all other aspects of success in your life. If you want to achieve something, whether it is a promotion at work or six pack abs, work for it and never give up. Figure out what you need to do and give it your all. I really believe attitude is what makes or breaks people. Nothing can ever stop a determined individual. If you are incredibly positive and believe in yourself, there really is nothing you can’t do. It’s all about you and nobody else.

On the other hand, check out my latest campaign which can be found on the billboards and across Beirut City Center. My fiancé and I endorsed the world cup campaign!
