One Month After Competing

It’s been exactly a month since I competed in my first competition on May 1st in the UK and three weeks since my second competition on May 10th in Denmark. It feels great not to be training as intensively and not to be following a strict diet. I can be more flexible with my meals and do not need to worry about following a rigid schedule. My total calorie intake is back to 2500 – 3000 calories a day! Some people might wonder how I can eat so much and not gain weight. Truthfully HOW you lose weight is just ...

Making Yourself Successful

The other day I was reading the biography of a celebrity fitness model and felt incredibly inspired by her story. She is an example of someone who worked hard and made herself successful. I just received it last week and will wear this when I compete again next year. Here is the photo (on the left hand side). Even though the world cup is over, my fiancé and ...

Some people might wonder why I have decided to compete in bikini fitness modeling competitions. It’s a lifestyle most people wouldn’t be able to follow. You train intensively for months lifting heavy weights, following fitness programs and doing high intensity cardio. You follow a strict diet, stop dining out and cut out alcohol altogether. The cherry on top is to stand in front of a crowd and a panel of judges in a bikini to criticize your hard work. While this might seem insane to some people, I have actually chosen to do it for many reasons. Having extreme willpower, ...
