BROWN BEAN SOUP

A healthy and hearty filler.

Ingredients for 4 servings

800g Dutch brown beans

400 g fine mixed vegetables (cauliflower/brocoli/peppers)

475 g fresh tomato pasta sauce (or an organic store bought sauce)

1½ chicken stock tablet

500 ml water

250g smoked chicken

Directions

Rinse the brown beans in a colander. Add in the beans, vegetables, pasta sauce, stock cube and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes simmer . Cut the chicken into strips and stir into the soup.
